The course presents different school systems from abroad. It offers general overview into problematics, with a focus on early-childhood education (ECEC - early childhood education and care). It reflects current school legislations, teacher training approaches and programmes, requirements for todays' teachers, forms of evaluation and assessment, teaching methods and forms, discussion and understanding of variable comparative studies, e.g. PISSA, TIMS, PIRLS etc. An important part is the comparison with the Czech education system.
