In this course, students will become familiar with the problems and issues explored by political science. The course is designed to provide an overview of the basic prerequisites of political science. Completing the course will enable the students to become familiar with the elementary mechanisms of the political process, its players and the institutional framework. In addition, the students will gain an overview of the ideological foundations of the different political camps that shape contemporary politics. Along with that, they will acquire basic knowledge of the trends that are changing today's political situation. The above mentioned should allow the students to be able to grasp the basics of politics and to make substantive arguments in discussions on general political topics.
