The aim of the course is to become familiar with the basic terms and principles of banking. The terms and principles include the banking system and its genesis, money and interest, the central bank and its instruments, commercial bank deposits and credit products and payment services.

This course deals with European Union. The aim of the course is to provide an overview of European integration process and its historical context. The student will gain knowledge in the field of EU budget, the functioning of the European single market and economic and monetary union. Furthermore, attention will be paid to the most important EU policies. The emphasis is placed on understanding the causes, objectives and impacts of European economic integration, the EU's roles and tools in each economic area, but also the challenges facing the EU in today's globalizing world.

Kurs má rozšířit již získané znalosti o daňové teorii, daňové politice a daňových technikách. Cílem je seznámit studenty se systémem zdanění v zemích Evropské unie a naučit je samostatně zvládat řešení daňový problémů na mezinárodní úrovni.

The course focuses on the nature and form of insurance and the insurance business with their individual applications. The aim is to clarify the meaning and basic principles of the insurance business.

V předmětu Veřejné finance se studenti seznámí úlohou veřejného sektoru ve smíšené ekonomice, státní netržní ekonomikou a financemi státu, měst a obcí, příjmy a výdaji veřejných rozpočtů.
Navazuje na kurz ekonomie a podrobněji rozebírá danou problematiku.
Cílem kurzu je seznámit posluchače s pojmy a problémy souvisejícími s veřejnými financemi v teoretické i praktické rovině.
Úspěšný absolvent bude schopen porozumět financování - příjmům a výdajům státního rozpočtu, krajského rozpočtu, rozpočtu obce.
